Hey everyone and welcome to The Classic Granny Stripe Sweater! This is a made to measure pattern consisting of the granny stitch. As this pattern is made to measure, you can use any ply of yarn from your stash. I have provided the measurements that you will work towards so you can concentrate on making an amazing sweater in any yarn that you desire! There is also a video tutorial to help you on your way!
 
The pattern is written in US terms  for an adventurous beginner. It has around 8cm positive ease and is made up of 2 panels, one front and one back. They are both worked from the bottom up. You will then add some neckline shaping before seaming the pieces together. The sleeves are crocheted directly onto the garment. You will then add some rounds on the neckline and the bottom hem.
